GREENSBORO – Keisha Nichole Brewington, 47, passed away on her birthday, Friday, January 8, 2021 at Moses Cone Hospital.
She was born in Guilford County on January 8, 1974 to Arlinda Maryland and the late Curvin Brewington.
Keisha graduated from James B. Dudley High School, class of 1993. In her spare time, she loved cooking, dancing and crafting.
Survivors include children, K’la Brewington, DeMarkus Brewington and spouse Tiara, Dawndrea Womack and spouse Parrish and Nykoia Brewington Taylor; mother Arlinda Maryland and spouse Larry; siblings, Dawnyel Ray-Pittman and spouse Ben, Tiffanie Mills, Tera Mills, Tamesha Frazier and Stephanie Graves; 4 grandchildren, D’syiah Reives, Leeaux Brewington, Parrish Womack, Jr., and Locas Brewington; goddaughter, Aliyah; best friends, Sonya Blackwell, Algernita Clowe and Lacey Matthews; Sisters for Eternity; a host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will begin on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1024 Homeland Avenue, Greensboro, NC.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1105 Willow Road, Greensboro, NC with the family visitation beginning at 12 noon. Bishop Myron K. Dawson, pastor of Kingdom Covenant Church will deliver the words of comfort.
