Ms. Trina Shaunette Reed was born August 13, 1978 to Phyllis Reed and the late Clayton Jennings in LaGrange, Georgia.

She graduated from Callaway High School. While at Callaway, she participated in the Chorus. Her singing voice was beautiful.

Trina united with Love and Faith Christian Fellowship in Greensboro, North Carolina.

She was employed as a Customer Service Representative. She was also an amazing Chef. She catered multiple baby showers, birthdays, and her very own Annual Super Bowl Party. Trina has a dream to own a Cajun Style Food Truck in Atlanta. She also had a dream of starting a non-profit organization to assist single mothers.

Trina was very outgoing and loveable. Whenever she’s in a room you can guarantee a lot of laughs and smiles from everyone. Trina’s wonderful food, loving personality, and her kind acts of servce will be missed by many. Her influence will always live on.

On Wednesday, August 7, 2019; our beloved Trina passed away in Greensboro, North Carolina. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Torrance Stephens; aunt, Barbara Render; uncles, Willie Stephens and Earnest Stephens; great aunt, Sandra Batley.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Tamiya Shalexus Reed; mother, Mrs. Phyllis Stephens; siblings: Francesca (Michael) York, Krisit Jennings, Ebony (Clement) Smith, Jamilla Collier; aunts and uncles: Shirley (Charles) Boza, Denise Reed, Shantres Lakes, Kara Lakes, Arthur (Linda) Reed, Isabell Cameron, Dorothy Ferrell, Marian (Earl) Graham, Pat Stephens, Roy (Teresa) Stephens; nieces and nephews: Hailey Smith, Keyla Smith, Mekeya York, Michael York, Jr., Parker York, Eddie Rowe, Jr., Michai Rove, Chad Larry, Jr.; special friends: Denise Alston, Keneesha Carmack, Areye Carmack, and Jasmine Carmack.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Rev. John Tompkins will officiate. 

The family will be at their home at 115 Sir Lancelot Street.

Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home is serving the family.
