Willie Mae Sutphin, 72, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC.

Public viewing will begin on Monday, June 24, 2024 from 12 until 6 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1024 Homeland Avenue, Greensboro, NC.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N. O'Henry Blvd., Greensboro, NC.

Willie June Mae Sutphin, born on May 28, 1952.

Willie Mae "June was predeceased by parents Dewey Beck & Lillian Clodfelter Sweeney, and loved one Haley Foster. Along with siblings Betty Jean, Charles Eugene Sweeney.

She is survived by quite a large loving family, including her loving husband of 56 years, Lawrence Wayne Sutphin; sisters Darlene Smith, Joanne Powell, and Marylee. Children Tina, Johnny (Lori), and Joanie (Brian). grandchildren Lisa, Mikey (Jessica), Crystal, Brian (Destiny), Corrina (Aaron), Little John (Mattie), Chris (Autumn), Heather (Cameron). Along with, great- grandchildren, Valorie (Malik), Paris, Katelynn, Clay, Blake, Grayson, Sasha, Ariella, Willow, Dallas, Carson, Anthony. Zakk, Athena, and Atreus, bonus great-grandchildren Amethyst and Harlyn. And lastly, her great-great-grandchildren Hazel & Ivory.

June was the heart and soul of her family, loved and already greatly missed by every single member. She was incredibly proud of all her grandchildren and lived a life that reflected it.
