KERNERSVILLE – William Murray, 84, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at his residence.
He was born on October 13, 1936 in Washington, D.C. to Brunson Murray, Sr., and Emma Rivers Murray.
William served his country faithfully and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. For majority of his life, he was a self-employed mechanic.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1105 Willow Road, Greensboro, NC. The family visitation and viewing will begin at 1:30 p.m.
Interment will be held in Salisbury National Cemetery with full military honors.
