Tammy Renee Morehead

GREENSBORO – Tammy Renee Morehead, 54, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Fruit of the Spirit Ministries, 3512 Rehobeth Church Road, Greensboro, NC. The family visitation and viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Public viewing will begin on Friday from 12 until 5 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1024 Homeland Avenue, Greensboro, NC.

Interment will be held in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3901 Forest Lawn Drive, Greensboro, NC.

She was born in Guilford County, NC on December 16, 1968 to Charles Melvin Morehead and Vennest Kiser Morehead.

Tammy was educated in the local public schools and graduated from James B. Dudley High School class of 1987.

For many years, she served as an administrative assistant at Bradley Law Group.

Survivors include significant other, Richard Johnson; son, Xaiver Morehead and special friend (Chyaunna); brother, Elder Derek Morehead, Sr., and spouse (Minister Delight); grandchildren, Xacari Bleu Morehead and Reign Bragg; nieces and nephews, Derek Jr., Collin, Ethan, Camille, Aaron and Liberty Scott; uncle, Don Kiser; aunts, Jo-Ann Kiser, Ethel Morehead and Doris Lindsay; a host of cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Lamont Morehead; paternal grandparents, Jesse and Josephine Morehead; maternal grandparents, Demarkus Kiser and Eleese Richardson Kiser; paternal uncles, Frank Morehead, William Morehead, Jesse Robert Morehead, Harvey Morehead and Claud Morehead; paternal aunts, Juanita Morehead Cobb, Idella Morehead Jones, Shirley Morehead Means, Josephine Morehead Smith, Almeta Morehead Whitsett, Australia Morehead Richardson; maternal uncles, Vernell Kiser, Kay Walter Kiser, Troy Kiser, Cleo Mitchell (Freddie), Ray Kiser, Lee Mark Kiser;
