REIDSVILLE – Sandie Kay Rachol Cruz, 51, passed away peacefully from this life the morning of April 27, 2023 at Moses Cone Hospital after a gradual decline in health.

A family visitation and moments of reflection will be held Friday, May 5, 2023 at the family’s residence.

She was surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last days of her life. She was born in Key West Florida on July 19, 1971 to Luther Bunyan Rachol and Beverly Ann Stuart Rachol and lived the majority of her life in North Carolina.

Sandie loved spending time with her family and was a stay-at-home mom. She especially loved her grandbabies.

Survivors include daughters, Stacey Rojas (Martin), Christina Pegram, Maria Simon-Cruz and Jessica Simon-Cruz; grandchildren, Kegan, Isabella, Evelyn, Carmelo, Lilliana, Jeremiah, Xander, Jase and Macie; sisters, Cheryl Verma, Betty Rachol Fagge and Lynette Freeland; significant other, Eugenio Ramirez-Alpizar; a host of relatives and friends.
