GREENSBORO – Ronald J. Wallace, 73, passed away March 3, 2023 at Guilford Health Care Center.

A celebration of life service will be held Friday, March 10, 2023 at 12 p.m. at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1105 Willow Road, Greensboro, NC. The family visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. Reverend Troy Wallace, pastor of Rocky Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, Reidsville will deliver the words of comfort.

Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, 3901 Forest Lawn Drive, Greensboro, NC.

Public viewing will begin on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 12 until 5 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1024 Homeland Avenue, Greensboro, NC.

He was born in Guilford County on October 30, 1949 to Herbert Hughes, Jr., and Mattie Wallace.

Survivors include daughters, Tiwana Williamson and Briazsha Wallace; siblings, Gerald Haley (Catholine), Sharon Nash-Sellars (Robert), Maria Smith (Kevin) and Greta Johnson; grandchildren, Tiara, Destiny, TeNakiya, Kyndall and Siani; uncle, Newton Fewell; brother-in-law, Ernest Benton; a host of relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Benton.
