GREENSBORO – Romeda Williams Smith, 62, departed her earthly journey June 13, 2023 at Beacon Place after battling cancer for almost 4 years.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, June 23, 2023 at 1 p.m.; visitation 12:30 p.m. at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1105 Willow Road. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Public viewing Thursday 12 to 6 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1024 Homeland Avenue.
Romeda was born in Newport News, VA on May 21, 1962 to Alfred and Gracie Boykins Williams.
Survivors include husband, Johnny Smith; sons, Ras Curtis and Sean Dominque; grandchildren, Myia L. and Zane M.; mother, Gracie B. Potts; 6 siblings; a host of relatives and friends
