Paul Edward Nichols

GREENSBORO – Paul Edward Nichols, 71, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 at Wesley Long Hospital.

He was born in Guilford County, NC on October 5, 1949 to George Harvey Nichols, Sr., and Viola Quick Nichols.

He was educated in the local public schools and graduated from James B. Dudley High School.

For many years he worked in the trucking industry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son George Harvey Nichols, III; brother, Charles Nichols.

Survivors include children, Christina Nichols, Dena Chavis and Gibreel Nichols; brothers, George Harvey Nichols and Kenneth Nichols; sisters, Marjorie Pickens and Mary Burns; a host of relatives and friends.

Public viewing will begin on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1024 Homeland Avenue, Greensboro, NC.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2021 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N. O’Henry Blvd., Greensboro, NC followed by the entombment.
