Miguel (Perscell) Poole

KNIGHTDALE - Mrs. Miguel "Pig" Perscell Poole, age 65, departed this earthly life on January 22, 2022.

Miguel Agatha Perscell Poole, the fourth of five siblings, born to the union of the late Paul and Dottie Jones Perscell, was born on July 1, 1956.  She transitioned into eternal rest on January 22, 2022, at the Brian Center Health in Yanceyville, NC.   She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Dennis and Michael.  Miguel confessed to Christ at an early age and united with the Jones Chapel Baptist Church, which is now known as Now Faith Baptist Community Baptist Church, located in Knightdale, NC.  Miguel was educated in the Wake County Public School System.  She began her education at Lockhart Elementary School and graduated from Vaiden Whitley High School.

 "Mabelle", as she was affectionately known by the family, was an avid fisher-woman,  and also loved the beach.  She and her ex-husband, Poole, were always loading up her nieces and nephews and would be gone for weeks at a time. Mabelle was fun-loving, outgoing, and lived life with a passion.  The life she lived, the memories she shared, will be long remembered by those who knew her.

She leaves to honor her memory: one brother, Minister Howze Perscell (Linda);  sisters, Paulette Jackson (Clifford), Valtina Jones (John), and Margaret Williams (Alvin); seven nephews; six nieces; several great-nieces and nephews; two god-daughters; and a host of relatives and friends.   

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, January 30, 2022, at the William Toney's Funeral Home Chapel located at 216 E. Barbee Street, Zebulon, NC, with visitation from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM.
