Obituary

GREENSBORO - Lillian Patricia Winston, 73, went to be with the Lord on September 14, 2023 at Beacon Place.

Public viewing will begin on. Friday, September 22, 2023 from 12 until 6 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1024 Homeland Avenue, Greensboro, NC.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1105 Willow Road, Greensboro, NC. The family visitation and viewing will begin at 3 p.m.

Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Cemetery.

Lillian Patricia Winston was born on February 5, 1950, to the late Leonard and Mildred Winston.

Lillian was educated in the Guilford County School system. She was employed as a CNA until she retired. Lillian was a resident of Raleigh until she relocated to Winston Salem. She spent her final days in Greensboro.

Lillian was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Hughes, Linda Winston, Brenda Wilkerson, Sandra Mobley and Deborah Summer and brother Leon Winston.

Lillian is survived by her brothers Leonard Winston (Violet) and Larry Winston (Dorothy), sisters, Mary Robinson and Beverly Winston, and a loving family of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She touched the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
