Lanceford Ross Williams

GREENSBORO - Lanceford Ross Williams, 36, passed away March 1, 2023.

A public memorial service will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 6 p.m. at Faith Community Church, 417 Arlington Street, Greensboro, NC.

Lanceford was born to Gail Williams in Loughman, Florida where he grew up with his grandmother and six siblings. After the loss of his grandmother, mother and sister in 1994, Lanceford traveled to the Carolinas, eventually reaching the city of Greensboro, where he would spend his remaining years.

Lanceford was a loving brother, father and friend to many.

His relatives and friends remember Lanceford as a bright light in their family and the community. Lanceford found joy and humor with ease, and always danced like everyone was watching. Lanceford was a stranger to no one, and an angel to all.

Lanceford was preceded in death by his mother Gail Williams and sisters, Sabrina and Nadine Williams. He is survived by his siblings, Ann Cohn, Deneidra and Willie Conley, Howard and Keisha Williams, Suazette Williams and a host of nieces and nephews.
