HIGH POINT - John William Atkinson, 82, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025 at his residence.
Public viewing will begin on Friday August 29, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home & Cremations, 1024 Homeland Avenue, Greensboro, North Carolina.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 12 noon at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 400 Campbell Avenue, Fayetteville, North Carolina. The family visitation and viewing will begin at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Timothy D. Careathers will deliver the words of comfort.
Interment will follow in Rockfish Memorial Park, 4017 Gillespie Street, Fayetteville, North Carolina.
