GREENSBORO – Janet Sue Carney, 74, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at her residence.
She was born in Avondale, West Virginia on April 16, 1947 to Charles Cooper and Beatrice J. Walls.
In her spare time, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene B. Carney.
Survivors include daughters, Theresa Lynn Parrish and Sherri Lynn Ottinger; brothers, Randall L. Cooper; sister, Julia J. Cooper; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2021 at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N. O’Henry Blvd., Greensboro, NC.
