GREENSBORO – James Walter Aiken, Jr., 43, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Moses Cone Hospital.
“Husan” as he was affectionately called was born on December 18, 1977.
He loved sports and was diehard New York Giants and New York Nicks fan.
He was preceded in death by parents, James Walter Aiken and Chrystal Morgan; uncles, Gary Morgan and Theodore “Teddy” Morgan.
Survivors include son, Jaylen Aiken; daughter, Asia Gause, Myracle Aiken and Myriah Aiken; brother, Kyle Aiken; sister, Shavonne Aiken, Tiquana Williams and Candice Aiken; maternal grandparents, Emma Koonce and Theodore Morgan; paternal grandparents, Luvenia Aiken and Walter Aiken; aunts, Pamela Teague, Wanda Morgan, Jeanette Lawrence, Rhonda Outlaw and Patty Williams; uncles, Walter Teague, Brian Aiken and Keith Aiken; a host of relatives and friends.
A public viewing will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 12 until 6 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1024 Homeland Avenue, Greensboro, NC.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 11 a.m from the New Light Holy Church Inc., 198 Howard Avenue, New Haven, CT. The viewing will begin at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow in Hamden Plains Cemetery, Hamden, CT.
