GREENSBORO – Ivey Coples, 62, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021.
He was born in Kinston, NC on May 20, 1959 to James Coples and Bertha L. Lassister.
He received his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina A&T State University and later enlisted in the US Air Force where he was honorably discharged.
For many years he worked as a manager in the restaurant industry.
Survivors include brothers, Travis Watson and James Coples; sister, Denise Swinson; a host of relatives and friends.
A viewing was held privately.
