GREENSBORO - Gwendolyn Diane Davis Flood, 70, passed away August 24, 2023.

A memorial service and community vigil will be held Friday, September 1, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. at Baldwin’s Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church Gymnasium, 1200 Leonard Avenue, High Point, NC.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 4 p.m. at East Market Street Seventh-day Adventist Church Gymnasium, 1804 E. Market Street, Greensboro, NC.

She was born in Washington, DC on December 10, 1952 to William Henry Davis and Sarah Mattie Bell.

Survivors include children, Westney Cross, Terri Broadnax and Jahnique Flood; grandchildren, Jamir Broadnax, Tershauna Broadnax, Tasia Broadnax, Daylon Flood, Destin Flood and D’Trien Flood; siblings, Wezlyn Davis, Nellie Dawson and Patricia Kingsberry; a host of relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Flood.
