SUFFOLK, VA – Gloria Fay Fisher-Watkins, age 58, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at her home surrounded by family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 12 p.m.; viewing 10 a.m. at Victory Life Church, 1741 W. Queen St., Hampton, VA.

Gloria was born May 8, 1963 in Patuxent River, Maryland to the late Ivey and Roger Dell Fisher. She grew up in Cavalier Manor in Portsmouth, VA.
Gloria received her Master’s Degree from ODU in Speech Therapy and worked in Williamsburg, Hampton and Chesapeake School Systems before joining Sentara Home Health.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Clayton H. Watkins; brothers-in-law, Dr. James Watkins (Hardenia) of Hampton, VA, Roynell Watkins (Shirley) of Columbia, SC and Donald Watkins (Lucy) of Smithfield, VA; sisters-in-law, Theresa Miles (Darryl) of Hampton, VA and Felecia Watkins of Muskogee, OK; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a plethora of family in the Reidsville and Caswell County area.
Those who knew her were blessed by her strong faith and love for Jesus Christ.
