GREENSBORO – Eric Wesley McMillan, 65, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in Winston-Salem, NC after several months of declining health.

A viewing was held privately.

Eric was born in Washington, DC on January 13, 1956 to James C McMillan and Margaret Pleasants McMillan.

He graduated from Ben L. Smith High School in 1973 and Joined the US Air Force where he served for 3 years and Joined the US Army in 1976 serving 4 years.

After leaving military service he pursued a career as a plumber.

Eric was preceded in death by son Wesley McMillan, mother, Margaret McMillan; sister, Frances Lynne McMillan and nephew, Andrew McMillan.

Eric is survived by sons, Derrick McMillan and Marcus McMillan; daughter, Stephanie Bolton (Duane); father, James C. McMillan; 7 grandchildren and one niece; a host of relatives and friends.
