GREENSBORO - Eric Demond Alston, 47, transitioned on May 12, 2024 at his residence.
A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 3 p.m. at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1105 Willow Road, Greensboro, NC. The family visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m.

Eric, son of William "Bill" Alston and Dorothy Brown Mahatha was born on May 13, 1976 in Greensboro, NC.
Eric was educated in the Monroe Schools System and Guilford County Schools System. He completed a course in Horticulture through Davidson Community College.
He leaves to cherish his memories, son, Kiland Winstead of Tarboro, NC, Ramesses Alston of Minnesota, Lord Tariq Alston of Greensboro, NC, Amari Jihad Williams of Atlanta, GA and Yarrah of Greensboro, NC; father, William Alston of Siler City, NC; mother, Dorothy Mahatha of High Point, NC; brother, Tim Alston (Sonia) of Wilmington, NC; sister, A'naree Alston of High Piont, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a lot of friends.
