GREENSBORO – Elizabeth Joanne Leonard, 67, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A celebration of life service for family and friends will be held at a later date.

She was born on October 17, 1954 to Stephen Benjamin Hamlet and Joanne Cox.

Elizabeth loved soul music and playing with her grandkids. She enjoyed reading and adult coloring books.

She especially loved her companion for 16 years Bogey (a yorkie-poo).

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Elizabeth Leonard.

Survivors include sons, Sam Leonard and Jon Leonard; brother, Stephen Benjamin Hamlet, III; sister, Mary Lisa Rodgers; 2 grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends.
