Denice Hope (Clark) Marion

GREENSBORO – Denice Marion, 57, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.

She was born in East Orange, NJ on September 23, 1964 to Charles Williams and Grace Catherine Clark Ingram.

Ministry was her calling and she received an Associate’s Degree from Carolina Christian College in Winston-Salem, NC.

For several years, she was employed at Truist as a personal banker.

In her spare-time, she enjoyed reading, praying and spending time with her grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Marion; mother, Grace Ingram.

Survivors include daughters, Makeda Marion, Celeste Clark and Kiara Marion; father, Charles Williams; grandchildren, Dymani Simmons, Khloee Marion, Kristian Marion, Christopher Clark, Aaliyah Clark, Jeremiah Clark and Kameron Marion; brothers, Darryl Clark, Tony Williams, Fitzgerald Williams and Deonte Williams; sisters, Kelly Ingram, Jackie Clark, Hannah Ingram, Theresa Ingram, Jodi Williams and Charlise Williams; aunts, Camilla, Cassandra, Stephanie, Janice, Melinda, Daphne and Silvia; a host of relatives and friends.

Public viewing will begin on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 1 until 6 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1024 Homeland Avenue, Greensboro, NC.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 12 p.m. at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1105 Willow Road, Greensboro, NC.  The family visitation and viewing will begin at 11 a.m.  Minister Ron Johnson will deliver the words of comfort.

The repast will immediately follow at Barber Park.
