GREENSBORO - Cleveland M. Riddick, 85, peacefully exchanged his earthly vessel for his home in glory on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
Public viewing will begin on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 12 until 5 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1024 Homeland Avenue, Greensboro, NC.
Funeral services will begin held Friday, March 21, 2025 at 1 p.m. at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1105 Willow Road, Greensboro, NC. The family visitation will start at 12:30 p.m. Pastor, Rev. Dr. Cardes H. Brown, Jr., eulogist.
Interment will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 in Lakeview Memorial Park, Greensboro, NC.
The family will receive visitors at the home of the late Cleveland M. Riddick from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2025 and Thursday, March 20, 2025.

Cleveland M. Riddick, a dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, was born to Frank and Ida Griffin Riddick on June 22, 1939, in Princess Anne County, now Virginia Beach, Virginia.
In his early years, Cleveland aOended Blackwater School in Princess Anne County, Va. Around ninth grade, he relocated to CharloOe, North Carolina where he graduated from West CharloOe in the class of 1959.
Cleveland was a long-term Greensboro resident and a NC A&T “Aggie.” Throughout his life Cleveland did not walk alone. His loving wife, Audrey Reid Riddick, was by his side during their 60 years of marriage.
This union was blessed with 2 sons, Kerry C. and Dr. Jaret C. Riddick and 1 daughter, Chiara M. Riddick King.
Cleve was preceded in death by his parents, his aunt, three brothers, William, Earvin and Early Riddick; his sister, Elizabeth Gregory; four brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law; and three nephews.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Audrey Reid Riddick; two sons: Kerry (Shirelle) Riddick and Dr. Jaret C. Riddick; one daughter: Chiara (Kevin) Riddick King; his grandchildren: Ryan J. Livingston, Bre’Ida J. Riddick, Marquis L. McMahan, Jr., Eugene Shields, III, Chrisean E. Shields, Kyerra A. Shields; and three special grandkids: Jada, Paris, and Maya King; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He also leaves to cherish his memory his beloved sister Harriet (Lee) Coston; four sisters-in-law: Ann Reid, Chrisene Rowe, Iris (Vince) Harris, and Jackie (Keith) Tisdale; two brothers-in-law, Elbert (Juanita) Reid, Jr. and Ken Geathers; a special nephew SGM (Ret.) Patrick (Diane) Reid and a host of loving nieces, nephews, god-children, other relaeves, and friends.
