NASHVILLE, TN – Charles Ronald Williamson, 71, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center.

Public viewing will begin on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 12 until 5 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1024 Homeland Avenue, Greensboro, NC.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 12 p.m. at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1105 Willow Road, Greensboro, NC. The family visitation and viewing will begin at 11:30 a.m. Reverend Dr. Cardes H. Brown, Jr. will deliver the eulogy.

Interment will follow in Carolina Biblical Gardens, Jamestown, NC.

He was born on July 24, 1950 to Charles P. Williamson and Lucille Ward Williamson.

For many years, he was employed by Ford Motor Company and worked in Human Resources.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lucille Williamson and a sister, Gwendolyn Y. Williamson.

Survivors includes his sister, Wanda Williamson; aunts, Shirley Fuller (James), Jacqueline Ward, Jacqueline Guest (Benjamin) and Reatha H. Ward; uncles, Dr. James H. Ward, Johnnie Ward (Daisy) and George T. Ward; a host of cousins, relatives and  friends.
