He was born on May 9, 1971, to his mother, Frances Harris.
Anthony was educated in the Guilford County Schools system and attended James B. Dudley High School. For many years, Anthony worked as a plumber and enjoyed helping the community. He was a one-of-a-kind person and loved to talk and laugh. Anthony was a TRUE Dallas Cowboy fan! He was also an avid fan of Dudley Panthers and NC A&T Aggies.
Anthony joined New Light Missionary Baptist Church in December 2019 and was a dedicated member until his death. He was an honorary member of The Ambassadors of Hope and Goodwill. He was also a dedicated member of The Culinary Ministry and assisted with helping seniors, children and many others when called upon. On Sundays, you would always see him "Praising God" in the middle aisles or in his seat. There was no shame in his game! Anthony loved to attend New Life Missionary Baptist Church to hear Reverend Brown preach.
To know Anthony was to know that he loved his family and friends tremendously. We celebrate the fact that God allowed us to cross paths with this remarkable man. His impact on those who loved him will remain evident in the days and years to come.
He was predeceased by his loving mother, Frances Harris; grandmother, Mrs. Frances Williams; uncle, Samuel Williams; and aunt, Minnie White.
Now left to cherish his memories are his brothers, Jeff Harris and Lamont Harris of Greensboro, North Carolina, uncle; David Allen Harris of Greensboro, North Carolina, and a host of Family and Friends who he touched deeply.
