Anne Marie Coley

GREENSBORO – Anne Marie Coley, 58, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022 at her residence.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 1 p.m. at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1105 Willow Road, Greensboro, NC. The family visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Reverend Dr. Cardes H. Brown, Jr. will deliver the words of comfort.

Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N. O’Henry Blvd., Greensboro, NC.

Public viewing will begin on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 12 until 7 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1024 Homeland Avenue, Greensboro, NC.

She was born in Guilford County, NC on January 12, 1964 to Hancock Coley and Queenie Estelle Lewis Coley.

She was educated in the local public schools and graduated from James B. Dudley High School class of 1982. Currently, she was employed as a Human Resources Specialist with the United States Postal Service.

In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping and loved playing softball.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Curtis Coley, Joseph Coley and Shirley Benton.

Survivors include daughter, Ashley Coley; siblings, David L. Reid (Deloris), Grace Crosby (Kenneth), Chester Coley (Libby), Joann Borden (Joe) and Veronica Coley (Ken); grandchildren, Azaria Coley and Ayana Coley; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
