GREENSBORO – Alonzo Allen Taylor, 33, passed away April 11, 2023.
A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 200 N. Regan Street, Greensboro, NC. The viewing and family visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Dr. Clay L. Barrow will deliver the words of comfort.
Public viewing will begin on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 12 until 6 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1024 Homeland Avenue, Greensboro, NC.
Alonzo was born in Guilford County, NC on October 11, 1989 to Norman Taylor and Barbara Brewer Taylor.
He was educated in the local public schools and graduated from Eastern Guilford High School.
In his spare time, he loved listening to music, playing video games, exercising and researching/reading. He also enjoyed walking his dogs, Lilly and Rasea.
Survivors include parents, Norman and Barbara Taylor; girlfriend, Malaka Davis; son, Jadon Taylor as well as an expectant child; brother, Javon Taylor; sister, Latasha Taylor; paternal grandparents, Eddie and Sandra Taylor; maternal grandmother, Andrea Brewer; aunts, Evette Quick and Sandra Wilkes; uncles, Steve Quick, Michael Taylor (Elaine), Daniel Taylor and Charles Brewer; nieces, Allison Abdullah, Damir Abdullah and Aubrianne Abdullah; special cousins, Julius Benton, Yolanda Holman and James Brewer; a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
