WHITSETT – Ralph David Pittman, 66, passed away September 1, 2020 at Moses Cone Hospital.

He was born in New Brunswick New Jersey (Middlesex County) on May 22, 1954 to the late William Pittman and the late Viada Mason Pittman.

He was the owner and operator of Absolutelyontime Car Services.

Ralph loved football and his favorite team was the New York Giants.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, William “Bill” Pittman, Nathan Pittman and Lawrence Pittman; sisters, Carol Dixon and Alfreda Phillips.

Survivors include spouse, Sherine Pittman; sons, Phillip Hawkins, Ralph Pittman Jr., (Drew) and Bryan Pittman (Anisha); daughter, Racquael Woods (Shadi); sisters, Shirley White and Judy Lige; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; other relatives and friends.

The public viewing will begin on Sunday, September 6, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1024 Homeland Avenue, Greensboro, NC.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 7, 2020 at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 1105 Willow Road, Greensboro, NC.  The family visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m.  Reverend Otto Bruston, pastor of Wadsworth Congregational Church will deliver the eulogy.

Interment will follow in Wadsworth Congregational Church Cemetery, 1301 Rock Creek Dairy Road, Whitsett, NC.
