Reatha, Keith, Marcus; you have Headley and my heartfelt and sincerest condolences. I was in shock to hear that Eddie had transitioned so quickly. I felt like I couldn't even get a prayer up for his speedy recovery before the call came that he was gone. And I began to remember all the times I had seen him over the years, with his unassuming nature. Just so laid back and easy going. Always the gentleman; sternly quiet...and of course just the nicest person in the room! I remeber the time when he shock the heck out of me! It was at Carol's during one of the family reunions and Maurice was acting up. Do you guys remember? Out of nowhere, Eddie body slammed Mo onto the ground and yelled "Maurice, you had better straightened up!" I was shocked because I had never heard him raise his voice. And the next day I said to him, "Boy Eddie, Clark Kent turned into Superman!" And we just had the biggest laugh. That was the day that I began to believe in superheroes. Eddie was a rock star! The Lord has got his kingdom a good son. Find peace in knowing that he was loved and he is missed. I love you family! Always, Rhonda.

Our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your husband. Eddie and I were classmates at Douglas High School and AT&T. I have fond memories of him. I know that God will continue to keep you and your family in his care. Isaiah 41:10 says: "Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you in my righteous hand." Trust Him and He will see you through this difficult time. Be well, be safe and God bless.

Reatha, I was so sadden to hear of Eddie's passing. I will never forget how nice he was to me and you did not hesitate and insisted that I go home with you the day of the big snow in Greensboro, remember? .......We were working at Western Electric.

So sorry I could not be present. Lord's willing, hope we can get together before this year ends. Prayerfully, Jeannette
