REIDSVILLE – Wanda Jean Belton, 70, passed away June 4, 2019 at Moses Cone Hospital.

She was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on March 6, 1949 to the late Hampton Harrison Stanfield and Lillian Fields Stanfield.

For many years, she was employed with Guilford County Schools as a Safety Assistant.  In her spare time, she enjoyed sitting on her porch smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Richard Wayne Belton.

Survivors include spouse, Richard Belton; daughters, Liza Cook and Emily Garner (Donald); sisters, Sherry Stanfield and Mary Lynn Stanfield; grandchildren, Kelly Cook, Liza Wigington, Bobby Garner and Elizabeth Garner; great-grandchildren, Peyton Wigington, Leland Wigington, Carson Kennedy, Destiny Bowen and Skylar Garner; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the residence of her daughter, Liza Cook – 110 Whit Lane Reidsville, NC.

Wanda, you were always so kind to me no matter the circumstances. I was always welcome at your house. You will be missed greatly by many. Prayers for the little ones that won't understand why your gone, and for everyone else for peace and comfort. Fly high beautiful.
