Dear family and friends of Essie:

I worked at VF with Essie for many years and she was a wonderful person with a winning personality. She has been missed around our office and I know how blessed you were to have her in your lives, because we were very blessed to have had her in our family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you through this very difficult time. God Bless all of you!

I had the pleasure of working with Essie at VF/WRANGLER for 14 years. She was a very good friend that would keep you laughing. She will be remembered for her fierce sense of style and for saying what was exactly on her mind. Loved that about her!

She was a great friend and my heart is heavy knowing that I will not get to enjoy more of her company. I consider myself truly blessed to have known her.

My prayers go out to her family. I'll miss her greatly.

Family and Friends of Essie,
I worked with Essie at VF for many years and my heart is saddened in the passing of Essie. You are in my thoughts and prayers. " Our Loss Is Heaven's Gain" and heaven sure gained a special angel. Those who have trusted Christina as their personal Savior will see Essie again. We have that promise. May God wrap his loving arms around you at this time and give you the peace that pass-through all understanding.

My heartfelt condolences are with the Atkinson family for the untimely passing of your love one, Essie. Her passing is one of the most devastating experience your family may face, and at times the loss of Essie may seem unbearable. However, during this time sorrow, words of comfort are most difficult to express to your family. Moreover, only God’s word the Bible can provide the greatest comfort of all. Psalm 55:22 states, “Throw your burden upon Jehovah himself and he himself will sustain you”. Furthermore, the Bible gives Essie the hope of a resurrection. Acts 24:15 states, “I have hope toward God, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous”. Indeed, your heartfelt prayers to God are not some sort of emotional crutch. They are real and vital communication to “the God of all comfort, Jehovah who comforts your family during this time of sorrow and sadness. (2 Corinthians 1:3,

To the family and friends of Essie:
It bring me saddest to know that my co-worker and church friend had taken her wings on sunday. Essie was a person who gave us a good laugh at work and church. We missed her dearly when she retired from Wrangler. I missed her from the pews of New Light Missionary Baptist Church. We would tease each others on sunday mornings. I knew that she was going to both of her church and her husband which did not allow her to attend New Light every sunday. She love Pastor Brown and New Light church. I pray that God give the family the peace that will surpass ALL understandings thru this difficult time.
