Serenity Funeral Home & Cremations, LLC., was established in 2013 by the Reverend Dr. Cardes H. Brown, Jr. (senior pastor of New Light Missionary Baptist Church), Miles Hurdle and Reginald C. Woodard (now deceased) who served as the first Funeral Service Licensee respectively.

Soon after, Serenity was privileged to have Reverend Dr. Benjamin Whitlock and Montae Johnson serve as Funeral Service Licensees.

In 2015, Gerald A. Harris was appointed as the Funeral Service Licensee. With over 25 years experience, he serves each family meticulously.
